On paper, the remaining schedule for the New England Patriots is flat-out easy. Frankly, it's insanely easy, and while there is no such thing as a guaranteed win in today's NFL, it's clear that the Patriots have quite a bit of those here as the season continues.
The Pats have made a ton of changes to their franchise recently, and most of them seem to be panning out. Whether it's investing into the offensive line, hiring Mike Vrabel, or other free agency moves, the Patriots are cooking with grease and have a shot to continue their ascension in the AFC.
The Patriots are heading to Tennessee to face the Titans in Week 7, and this is obviously a bit of a homecoming game for Mike Vrabel, as the Titans hired him as their head coach years ago, and he carved out a pretty solid tenure with that franchise, but this team has gotten much worse since Vrabel departed, and they honestly hit a new level of dysfunction on Monday.
Tennessee Titans fire Brian Callahan after a horrific 1-5 start in 2025
After a 1-5 start in 2025 and a 4-19 record overall, Callahan has been shown the door after less than two seasons on the job:

Callahan has NFL bloodlines but clearly isn't cut out to be an NFL head coach at this time. The GM that hired him, Ran Carthon, isn't even with the team anymore, so current GM Mike Borgonzi clearly did not have much of an attachment to Callahan.
The Titans become the first team in the 2025 season to make an in-season head coaching change, and if I were the Patriots, I would honestly be a bit worried, as a team that fires their head coach typically lights it up in the very next game.
And since this game is in Tennessee, you have to wonder if the Patriots could get hit with the trap game bug in this one. I don't think that happens, though, as Mike Vrabel has all the motivation in the world, and the AFC is truly wide open.
The Patriots can't be losing a game like this, and the Titans really don't do anything right. The Pats, not the most talented team ever, out-talent the Titans all across the board. This should be a two-score win for New England in Mike Vrabel's Tennessee homecoming.
Somehow, the Titans just hit a new level of dysfunction, and it's only Monday.
