After several long months of waiting for the final reveal, Patriots fans finally know what the team's new uniforms, in collaboration with Nike, will look like for the upcoming season. The partnership meant that eight teams would unveil rivalry-inspired uniforms to be worn once this fall, with the Patriots reportedly set to don theirs on November 13 against the Jets.

Rumors spread in the hours leading up to the drop about what the color scheme would be, as the Patriots Pro Shop added icy blue hats to the mix. However, that's not exactly what the uniforms turned out to be, at least, not that shade of blue.

Instead, Nike opted for a slate blue with a matte white helmet look, which continues to receive mixed reactions from fans. The biggest gripe appears to be that the shade of blue chosen is not one that reflects the Patriots whatsoever, and tends to lean more toward the Titans instead.

However, that hasn't changed what many others outside New England think about the new look, as they are already being ranked highly by non-Patriots fans already.

Nike continues to get a mixed reaction with their rendition of alternate pro sports jerseys

Although only eight teams received new uniforms for the 2025 season, fans around the league couldn't help but react, either negatively or positively, to the newest threads.

Among them was Sayre Bedinger of NFL Spinzone, who appreciates the Patriots' latest uniform so much that he ranked them second-best of the bunch.

"This is an elite --Β eliteΒ -- alternate uniform. The gray-blue color is absolutely done to perfection, and the balance here is out of this world. The stripes on the shoulder, the "NE" logo on the sleeve, the number font, the pops of red on the pants...

It all adds up for the Patriots here. This is a 10/10 with no notes from me."

The initial reaction from Patriots fans might not have been overwhelmingly positive, but upon further review, with a closer look at the details that Nike included in the jersey, it's easy to see what makes them more likable, going beyond the immediate response to the color.

The New England patch on the sleeve was a nice touch, and the famous "We are all Patriots" quote by Robert Kraft on the inside of the neckline is fantastic. It's a great way to personalize the jersey and reflect the attitude of the team and franchise, making it even more fun for fans to buy their own from the Pro Shop.

We'll have to wait until Week 12 to see what these really look like on the team and in a game, and maybe then fans can make up their mind about whether they're good or not.
