The NFL has been narrowing down the legendary coaches, owners, and players who will be considered for the 2025 Hall of Fame, something Patriots owner Robert Kraft was hoping to finally be honored with this year. He has made his feelings known about being enshrined for the success he helped bring to New England, making it very clear this past year that he was disappointed he hadn't been put in yet.
Considering the success the Patriots have accomplished since he bought the team in 1994, especially during the dynasty era that spanned over two decades, it's a bit unfathomable that Kraft is still waiting to be seriously considered for the honor.
Unfortunately, it looks like he will have to wait at least one more year, as the current rumor (according to NFL insiders) is that Kraft was not selected as a finalist for next year's Hall of Fame.
To make matters worse, the owner who was selected is Ralph Hay, who only owned the Canton Bulldogs for four years over 100 years ago and he's mostly known for his controversial opinions regarding players being
This will surely be news that Kraft won't be happy to hear, especially since he was incredibly upset about Cowboys owner Jerry Jones being enshrined well before him. He will undoubtedly be upset that an owner most don't remember was the one chosen for the 2025 class.
It makes you wonder why the voters are avoiding putting Kraft into the Hall and if it's something he will ever accomplish. He's had his fair share of controversies on and off the field. But that hasn't stopped plenty of others from being put into the Hall of Fame over the last several decades.
Maybe Kraft's scandals are a bit worse, or something has gone on behind the scenes that the general public isn't aware of, keeping him out. We'll likely never know, but we can assume Kraft won't be too pleased about the latest development regarding his status, and we'll probably hear about it shortly.
