The Patriots are set to host their preseason opener on Friday against the Washington Commanders after a chippy practice the day before. Not only did a couple of fights break out, but Mike Vrabel put himself at the bottom of the pile at one point, coming out with a facial battle wound to show just how tough he still is.

That has many believing the game could continue with that tone, which is a much different attitude than the Patriots were just a year ago. But before the game begins, the 12-foot Tom Brady statue set to sit outside of Gillette Stadium is going to finally be unveiled, and there are a lot of theories about what it might be.

Photos have been posted online of the trophy covered in a tarp just hours before fans will finally see what it is. There are already theories about what the moment firmly erected for eternity might be based on what the statue looks like under the tarp, but the guesses become even better after a closer look.

Besides being a massive statue that was rightfully made 12-feet tall to honor the best player ever to wear the number, closer-up photos of the base show every Super Bowl win is etched, and that has sprung up perhaps the best theory of what bronze Brady might be doing permanently at Gillette.

There are high hopes among Patriots fans that Tom Brady's statue will be epic

Because of the six Super Bowl scores presumably etched at the base of the statue and the way it looks under the tarp, many fans believe Brady's memorable celebration after the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history will be what the statue is modeled after.

Super Bowl 51 will live in infamy, as it is the only time in the history of the NFL that a team came back from being down 25 points. Not only that, but the Patriots were able to tie the game just barely over one quarter to force overtime.

We know how the game ended, with New England marching down the field against a gassed and defeated Falcons' defense, with James White incredibly scoring the game-winning touchdown to give the Patriots their fifth Lombardi trophy. And because of that, it probably is the best moment to be remembered with Brady's statue.

There are, of course, plenty of moments that they could choose from to perfectly encapsulate just how important Brady was for the franchise, with many suggesting his infamous run down the sideline yelling "Let's f----- go!" as the top suggestion for the statue.

While that certainly is still possible, along with other ideas, it looks like the moment from Super Bowl 51 might be a spot-on prediction. Fortunately, we don't have to wait long to see what it really is, as it will finally be unveiled at 6 pm EST before the Patriots take on the Commanders tonight.
