Going into the 2025 season, there weren't many believers in what the Patriots could accomplish, as most expected another washed year, one remembered for making improvements after the last few failed seasons.
Now that they have exceeded expectations, to say the least, some are jumping on the bandwagon, even predicting they will be the Super Bowl winner. In contrast, some are more vocally expressing their belief in the team led by Mike Vrabel.
That has long been the case with former Titans players and hosts of "Bussin' with the Boys," Will Compton and Taylor Lewan. In fact, Lewan was beyond excited for Vrabel's opportunity with the Patriots and had nothing but positive things to say about his former coach during the preseason.
He is now saying much of the same, now that New England is going into the divisional round against the Texans, as he shared his utmost confidence in the Patriots' chances on Sunday.
Taylor Lewan is sure that Mike Vrabel will have the Patriots well prepared to face the Texans' defense
During a recent appearance on "Up & Adams," host Kay Adams asked Compton and Lewan their feelings about the divisional round game and whether they felt like the Patriots had a real chance to come out the victor.
In his answer, Lewan shared what he thinks Vrabel will do to help ensure the Patriots shut down the Texans' top defenders, Will Anderson Jr. and Danielle Hunter, and believes that if any coach can handle that daunting task, it's him.
"Vrabes ain't shying away from that fight… He's going to find flaws in [Will] Anderson Jr. and [Danielle] Hunter." 😤

Patriots fans are split on how confident they feel going into this matchup, so it's refreshing to hear from players who know how Vrabel operates and feel this good about what the Patriots are walking into.
We know that he understands the game from various perspectives, as he was a longtime player and has served roles on coaching staffs for years, and now he will be able to showcase his invaluable knowledge in perhaps the most important game of his coaching career, certainly since taking over the Patriots this past year.
Now it's up to him to deliver.
