It's finally the part of the NFL offseason where the upcoming season becomes a little bit clearer, and for the New England Patriots, who are coming off a year that ended with an appearance in the Super Bowl, how the schedule pans out will be an early sign of whether that good luck and success will have a chance to continue in 2026.
Their 2025 schedule was widely considered one of the weakest in the entire league, and now they're set to face one of the toughest. Some feel their easy schedule is the reason for their success last year and are waiting to see how they will fare under much tougher conditions, putting the Patriots under a microscope even more.
They'll have a lot on their plate after falling flat in the biggest game of the year, but Mike Vrabel and the Patriots' coaching staff, along with an improved roster, look more than capable of repeating what we saw one year ago.

- The opening game of the season will be against the Seahawks @ Seattle
- The Patriots' road game against the Chicago Bears will be played on Thursday Night Football at Soldier Field in Week 7.
