Since the start of the 2026 NFL Draft earlier this week, the ongoing rumors connecting the Patriots to a trade for Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown have only gotten stronger.

Besides what many believe is an inevitable deal, the Eagles made it clear with their first-round draft choice of top receiver Makai Lemon that they plan to move Brown this offseason, and the Patriots remain the most likely trade partner.

That has only fueled excitement among Patriots fans, who have not only longed for Brown to suit up with the team but have wanted a clear WR1 on the roster going back to the days when Tom Brady was still under center. If they pull off this trade, they'll finally have it all.

But there are lingering concerns about Brown's attitude and behavior, stemming from constant behind-the-scenes whispering about drama and on-field antics during games, many of which we saw during the 2025 season.

Fortunately, one player who got an up-close look at the Eagles for much of the last four years had something to say about that, as the chatter coming out of Philadelphia continues.

Micah Parsons settles Patriots fans' concerns about AJ Brown in one tweet

During what appears to be a random moment on Friday, the Packers' superstar sent out a tweet about Brown being the scapegoat of the alleged dysfunction with the Eagles' roster.

Many have suggested the wide receiver is the root of all the problems, while new reports have claimed more of it lies on the shoulders of QB Jalen Hurts. That could be what Parsons is alluding to, but at the very least, he's shooting down any character concerns about Brown ahead of his hopeful trade to New England.

Maybe it doesn't mean much in the big scheme of things, since Parsons never played on the same team as Brown. However, his insight still carries some weight, considering how many times the Cowboys played the Eagles during his tenure.

Regardless, the hope is that most of the rumors surrounding Brown have been blown out of proportion, especially since nothing had come out about him or his behavior when he was with the Titans. If there had been issues, surely Vrabel wouldn't be interested in reuniting with him in New England.

So while there might be some reluctance among Patriots fans, it doesn't seem relevant to the kind of player Brown is now or will be for the team.
