Now that a new regime is calling the shots in New England, nothing seems off the table going into free agency and the draft, which is the complete opposite of how Bill Belichick operated. That includes pulling off a blockbuster trade for a player like Maxx Crosby, who the Raiders might be willing to move on from for the right price.

The impressive pass rusher and the Las Vegas team didn't end the 2025 season on good terms, according to multiple reports. The Raiders chose to bench Crosby for the final few games due to an injury, which he took offense to, even though he eventually needed surgery for it.

Given that they appear to be undergoing a massive rebuild this offseason, there's a chance that the higher-ups will be willing to entertain the idea of trading their best player for high draft capital, and Patriots fans are ready for Mike Vrabel and Co. to pounce.

That only heightened this past week when Crosby sent out a tweet of support to his former teammate and current Patriots' linebacker K'Lavon Chaisson for his performance against the Chargers on Sunday night.

That inevitably prompted Patriots fans to reply to Crosby, letting their feelings be known about wanting him to suit up in the red, white, and blue.

One fan even used Twitter's AI to send a sales pitch to the Pro Bowler in hopes of convincing him to get a trade to Foxborough.

Patriots fans are doing the most with efforts to convince Maxx Crosby to come to New England

Beyond the typical responses to Crosby, telling him he would look great as a future Patriot, one New England fan asked Twitter's AI bot Grok to come up with a pitch for Crosby, and Grok did not disappoint.

Obviously, Crosby isn't exactly in charge of his fate, and at this moment, the Raiders have shut down any rumors about potentially trading their star player.

However, as we've seen throughout NFL history, things can change quickly, and if presented with the right offer, Crosby could be on the move. And there's plenty of reason for the Patriots to get involved to add him to their defensive line, and they have the means to do it.

It won't be cheap, as most projections have Crosby moved for no fewer than two first-round picks, which is a lot for the Patriots to forfeit while trying to rebuild their roster. But a player like Crosby doesn't become available often, so you have to jump on the chance to make it happen.
