Coming off an exciting and dominant win over the Bears last week, the Patriots have their sights set on the LA Rams as they come to Gillette Stadium for a Week 11 matchup. The Super Bowl LVI winners suffered a brutal loss to the Dolphins on Monday Night Football, a game that gave them plenty of opportunities to take another win home.

Instead, they come to Foxboro with a 4-5 record, hoping to turn their luck around with a win over the 3-7 Patriots.

While that has probably been the desire of most teams this season, and they have come away with wins more than losses, the Patriots want to build upon their success from last week's game and carry that on for the rest of the season, especially with defensive end Yannick Ngakoue in the lineup and potentially Christian Barmore returning.

The defensive help will play a significant factor in slowing down the Rams' offense. They are loaded with talent, starting with quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receivers Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua. The New England defense will also have their hands full with running back Kyren Williams, so stopping the run will be crucial, too.

Both teams will be looking for a win to set the tone for the rest of the season for very different reasons, with the Rams hoping to make the playoffs and the Patriots hoping to stack more wins to build a solid culture under the new regime.

All of it will make this a not-miss game.

  • Last matchup: The Patriots last played the Rams on December 10, 2020, suffering a blowout loss (24-3) on the road. Interestingly, this will be the first time the Rams play at Gillette Stadium since the 2016 season.
