How to watch Jaguars vs. Patriots in NFL Week 7 with & without cable
The start of the Drake Maye era is underway in New England and will continue across the pond in Week 7 as the Patriots take on the Jaguars at Wembley Stadium. Both teams currently sit with 1-5 records, therefore not garnering much excitement surrounding their matchup.
However, Patriots fans are thrilled to see the rookie quarterback in action against a very beatable team, one that could allow him to shine even more than what we saw from him last week against the Texans. Maye's impressive performance against one of the league's best brought a lot of optimism for the rest of the season, even if there isn't much hope of being competitive this year.
Hopefully, the renewed sense of energy will continue to translate on the field by the offense, especially with the resurgence of Kayshon Boutte and DeMario Douglas. They looked like a much more competent group against a solid defensive front, which should mean they can dominate the Jaguars front seven.
Because of that and their performance over the last several weeks, there are more concerns regarding the defense this year than anything else.
It's an unfortunate development for what was expected to be a continued dominance from last season, but the losses of key players like Christian Barmore, Ja'Whan Bentley, and Matthew Judon have certainly taken a toll.
Multiple players, including Davon Godchaux, have called out their teammates for their "selfish" play, intending to motivate them to get on the same page, so that would be great to see in what should be another win for the Patriots this week.
