How to listen to Jets vs. Patriots NFL Week 8 game on the radio
The Patriots go into their Week 8 matchup against the Jets with a 1-6 record, hoping to add another win on the year with Drake Maye under center. The last time the two teams met was in Week 3, suffering a blowout loss that prompted many to believe the Aaron Rodgers-led team would somehow make it to the Super Bowl.
Those assumptions were quickly shut down as the Jets continued to struggle in the weeks since. They come into Foxboro with a 2-5 record on Sunday. Despite their effort to improve the team by scapegoating their head coach, firing him, and trading for Davante Adams, the Jets haven't looked much better than they did at the start of the season.
That works in the Patriots favor and could help them secure their second win of the season.
Unfortunately, a lot will need to go right for that to happen, which hasn't been the case thus far. It doesn't help that more players, including Kyle Dugger and Brenden Schooler, were added to the injury report over the weekend, nor do the constant troubles with their wide receivers.
With so much scrutiny throughout the season, but especially over the past two weeks, it would be good to see the team use that frustration as motivation to get the job done this week and get their revenge over one of their longest rivals.
