As the Chiefs have gone about their recent success, which to some is being called a dynasty, there have been many comparisons of their run to the Patriots' two decades of dominance. Despite the obvious differences, there is no denying that the Chiefs are the new rulers of the NFL, and there doesn't appear to be an end in sight.

They are a team that is fortunate to have a legendary head coach in Andy Reid, similar to New England with Bill Belichick, and a quarterback you can rely on in Patrick Mahomes. He has benefitted throughout his career by having some of the best players at their positions, working with wide receiver Tyreek Hill for four seasons and tight end Travis Kelce since the quarterback became the Chiefs' starter in 2018.

With the Super Bowl still on their minds in 2024 and the hope to be the first team to win three in a row in league history, they have been trying to add more talent to the roster to make that a bit easier for the rest of the way.

They did that by trading for DeAndre Hopkins late last month, and that acquisition is already paying off. Although he had chosen to sign with the Titans in free agency last year, he was not enjoying his time there, hence their willingness to trade him.

That appears to have changed after his first game in Kansas City, as the receiver took to social media to share what he believes is a comparison of him and Mahomes to Tom Brady and Randy Moss.

Considering the iconic duo never won a Super Bowl together, it's a pretty interesting choice for Hopkins to post. Their one chance occurred during the 2007 season, and we know how that game ended.

So, it seems like Hopkins is loving his new team, but also tempting fate by comparing his new situation to that of a duo that never won it all. Maybe that's looking too much into it, but Chiefs fans and NFL fans were quick to mention it in the replies.
