There have already been a lot of discussions about AJ Brown since he was traded to the Patriots last week, and one of the more prominent conversations has centered on the timeline of when his former team would participate in joint practices in New England.
It was immediately deemed a hot topic, given that it didn't appear as though Brown's time with the Eagles ended on great terms, so it would be the first time he would face his former teammates with the team he always wished he had been part of.
Fortunately, meeting on the practice field is the only time the Patriots will take on the consistent contender, since they do not face Philadelphia during the 2026 season. But they will meet them on August 19 and 20, according to their training camp schedule, and it will surely be a practice fans won't want to miss.

- Thursday, August 20 - 10:15-12:15 p.m. (Joint practice with the Philadelphia Eagles)
Surely, those two days will be jam-packed with fans more so than any other day, and there's plenty of reason to want an up-close look at that day's practice.
AJ Brown will come face-to-face with the Eagles later this summer
In a typical situation, a player going against their former team is something most fans would want to see. When it comes to Brown and the Eagles, however, it's a much more chaotic situation that could make it a must-see practice, given how things ended between them.
Although both parties have come out and said positive things about the other, with Brown sharing love for his tenure in Philadelphia, countless rumors have flooded the internet about what led him to demand a trade, with Eagles fans generating most of the negative publicity over the past week.
Understandably, many are upset that the best receiver they've had on the team in recent years wanted out and got his way by being traded to the team he grew up a fan of. But at the same time, some of the rhetoric circulating online about Brown is just unnecessary, no matter how bothered they are by the trade.
That could become a problem when the Eagles head to Foxboro for the joint practices, especially if any of his former teammates feel the same way fans do on social media.
It would be best if that could be avoided at all costs, and instead, the Patriots are able to take advantage of lining up against a perennial Super Bowl contender and come out a stronger team because of it.
