Worst mistakes Patriots have made in post-Brady era

Allegedly not being interested in Lamar Jackson

Apparently, the team is not interested in pursing Lamar Jackson, and if that continues to hold up, it’ll go down as the worst mistake in the post-Brady era thus far for the Patriots.  This move could bite them in the rear end for years to come.

Mac Jones is not nearly good enough to make headway in the AFC, and I think we all know that deep down.  He’s a low-floor/low-ceiling player and that just isn’t going to fly.  Lamar Jackson has won 73% of his regular season starts in the NFL.

He’s also got an MVP and two Pro Bowls on his resume.  His career passer rating is in the upper 90s and he also has over 4,000 career rushing yards.  He’s the best dual-threat QB of all time and would thrive in New England.

I’m just so confused as to why the team isn’t planning on pursuing Jackson.  Even a 75% healthy Jackson is light years better than what the Patriots currently have in their facility.  With Aaron Rodgers projected to land in New York, Lamar Jackson could be the ultimate equalizer for a team that is currently buried in the AFC East.
