Death, taxes and the Patriots relying on Nick Folk field goals because they can’t score touchdowns in the red zone. That was the lone bold prediction I got right two weeks ago as the Patriots defeated the Colts. Rhamondre Stevenson found the endzone, but only once. Deatrich Wise recorded a sack, but Matthew Judon and Jose Uche led the way with three apiece. This week the Patriots have their first rematch with an AFC East opponent, taking on the Jets for the second time in three weeks. Here’s my five bold predictions for what may happen in the game.

Five bold predictions for Patriots in week eleven

Damien Harris scores a touchdown

Damien Harris got off to a decent start, scoring three touchdowns in the first four games of the season before suffering an injury early in week five. Since the injury, he’s been in and out of the lineup, missing two games and totaling 18 carries in the three other games. After the bye week, Harris was totally off the injury report and seems to be ready to go. The Patriots will need him to help take the load off Rhamondre Stevenson down the stretch.

The Jets have a stout defense and have been very good against the pass, but they have given up 10 rushing touchdowns. If the Patriots are able to move the ball, I think they will lean on the running game and that opens up opportunities for Harris to get in the endzone.
