Five bold predictions for the Patriots in week eight

Patriots intercept Zach Wilson twice

The #2 pick of the 2021 draft has not lived up to the expectations so far in his career and is off to a mixed start this season. Wilson was injured during preseason and missed the first three games before returning for a win in Pittsburgh earlier this month. Through four games, Wilson has just one touchdown pass and two interceptions as the Jets have focused on running the ball and controlling the clock. This week, however, they will be without leading rusher Breece Hall and if they fall behind, will have to rely on the arm of Wilson.

Last season, Wilson faced the Patriots twice but was only able to finish one of the games. In that game, a week two Patriots victory at Metlife Stadium, the Patriots picked off Wilson four times. The Patriots have intercepted opposing quarterbacks seven times so far this season, but I think they can get Wilson at least twice on Sunday.
