The New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens square off in week three. It’s the Patriots home opener, but what do their injury lists look like?  Injuries are already plaguing many teams across the NFL, and both the Patriots and Ravens will have their own to deal with.

Depending on who is injured, the game may end up swinging one way or the other because of it.  Fortunately for both teams, it seems as if their core players will be healthy and on the field when the two teams kick off at 1:00 PM.

Patriots and Ravens injury report

As I type these words, this is what I’ve been able to find for the Ravens’ injury report.  The team expects to have Devin Duvernay and Rashod Bateman play.  Ronnie Stanley is out.  They have a slew of questionable players as well.  All of JK Dobbins, Marlon Humphrey, Isaiah Likely, Marcus Peters, James Proche, Brandon Stephens, and Damarion Williams are given the questionable injury designation.

This would be a huge loss if the Ravens weren’t able to have Humphrey and Peters, their top two cornerbacks, play in this game.  Both Duvernay and Bateman are also becoming focal points of the offense, so their absences would hurt.

For the Patriots, Jakobi Meyers will not play in the game.  The team’s injury report is filled with questionable players.  These players include Kyle Dugger, Joshuah Bledsoe, Cody Davis, Davon Godchaux, Raekwon McMillan, Adrian Phillips, and Jalen Mills.

It’s clear that the Patriots’ defense is already getting a bit thin with injuries.  This is awful news, as the defense is the unit that needs to essentially lead the team each week until the offense can figure out what they’re doing.

However, the offense is nearly all healthy, and obviously their health puts them in as good of a position as possible to try and put some points on the board.
