3 lofty goals for the New England Patriots in 2022: Win double digit games in the loaded AFC

The AFC added a ton of firepower this offseason, and any NFL fan doesn’t need a summary of what went down.  What I would consider to perhaps be the most lofty goal of all for 2022 is the New England Patriots winning double digit games.

I am an optimistic guy, but I just do not see a path to 10 wins, however, as I mentioned above, the story of the 2022 Patriots hasn’t been written yet, so anything can happen.

The Patriots are set to play quite a few very good teams in 2022.  Some of these teams include the Ravens, Packers, Browns, Colts, Bills (2x), Cardinals, Raiders, and Bengals.

Their schedule, especially during the final stretch of the season, is downright insane.  It’s put the team in a tough spot, especially with the departure of Josh McDaniels for the offense.

I have no doubt that the defense will generally be able to hold their own, but the offense might just lack the firepower needed to win a lot of games in 2022.
