The second day of Patriots training camp kicked off with more enthralling offensive work. But it would be the defense who had the best practice of the day.

Day two of training camp for the Patriots was very much the same as the previous practice, but the defense made sure they dominated in their performance today.

Although not much has changed over the last 24 hours, these are some key notes from New England’s Thursday’s practice:

Matt Patricia continues to appear as the offensive play-caller

Defense took over the day up until the very last play

Rhamondre Stevenson discusses his offseason training with pass-catching and upping his workouts to drop weight

Second year safety, Joshuah Bledsoe, stands out with his performance on day two

DeVante Parker continued to stand out on offense

After two days of Patriots’ training camp, it seems like there is a ton of things to like so far.  Both the offense and defense have shown flashes.
