1. Odell Beckham Jr.

As unlikely as bringing in a star receiver like Beckham or Deebo Samuel might sound, it would be the height of irresponsibility for the the Patriots to close this door completely. Even with his injury, Beckham might make the most sense for New England given his admiration for the Belichick regime and complementary skill set.

Beckham will likely sit out the first parts of the year, but making a return before the end of the season is not out of the question. While his numbers will never be what they were with the Giants, Odell managed to step up on the biggest stage and make some clutch catches against the Bengals in the Super Bowl.

Odell Beckham would be a massive help for the New England Patriots

Beckham may have only averaged 38 yards per game last year, but he should get more targets if he ends up in New England. Given his age and injury history, Belichick might be able to steal a starting-caliber player at a vastly discounted price.

Jones will need more receivers than Parker, second-rounder Tyquan Thornton, and Kendrick Bourne if he wants to take that next step. If Odell’s ability to explode and get behind a defense remains post-ACL injury, he could be a WR1 in New England for the next half-decade alongside Jones.
