2. Chargers take Jordan Davis or Devonte Wyatt

The Chargers may not seem like a rival, but they will undoubtedly clash with New England as they try to secure a playoff spot. My grandmother could’ve run for four yards per carry against the Chargers and their lackluster interior last year, meaning that one of two Georgia Bulldogs could be coming to LA.

Davis stands 6-6 and 340 pounds, yet his testing numbers look like something you’d see from a moderately athletic linebacker. Ranked as the No. 1 defensive tackle prospect ever in terms of Relative Athletic Score, Davis falling to 17 would be a dream come true for the Chargers.

The Patriots should worry if the Chargers draft a defensive lineman.

Even if Davis is off the board, Wyatt would make a ton of sense. An equally athletic dynamo with pass rushing potential and some solid feel for the game, Wyatt should help LA get the run defense it needs to properly implement Brandon Staley’s scheme on defense.

The Patriots need to worry about Justin Herbert, but the LA defense isn’t amazing despite the addition of JC Jackson in the offseason. Grabbing one of these two would put them firmly a tier above New England in the AFC race. With how good Herbert is, they could stay there for years to come.
