Dallas showed New England that they not only have one of the best receiver duos in CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper, but they can supplement that combination with secondary playmakers like tight end Dalton Schultz, deep threat Cedrick Wilson, and a solid depth piece in Noah Brown.

While Gallup has a 1,000-yard season under his belt with the Cowboys, his injury has made it impossible for him to get going this season. With ESPN hinting that Gallup could be on the move, the Colorado State standout could find a home with the Patriots if Belichick is willing to part with picks.

Michael Gallup could help Mac Jones and the Patriots be more explosive.

Gallup would instantly be the top receiver on the team. That’s no offense to guys like Hunter Henry, Nelson Agholor, Kendrick Bourne and Jonnu Smith, but it’s clear nobody has been able to seize the No. 1 pass-catching role thus far.

With Lamb’s contract extension coming and all of the money tied up in Ezekiel Elliott and Dak Prescott, Gallup could be moved for picks if Dallas wants to remain financially flexible. The Patriots should take advantage if this is the reality of the situation.
