Patriots Injury Report vs Jets Week 2

The following Patriots players have been ruled out for Week 2 against the Jets: Trent Brown (calf) and Kyle Van Noy (throat).

Jonnu Smith Injury Update

Jonnu Smith popped up on Thursday’s injury report with a hip issue. The good news is that he was back out there on Friday, albeit in a limited capacity, and was ultimately listed as questionable for Sunday’s game.

There’ve been no further updates on Smith’s status as of this writing, but the fact he got in a limited session Friday suggests he should suit up. As always, however, keep checking for updates leading up to kickoff.

Patriots vs Jets Odds, Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick Week 1

WynnBET’s Week 2 NFL odds list the Patriots as six-point road favorites. They’ll have -110 odds (bet $110 to win 100) to win by six or more points. On the flip side, the Jets have -110 odds to cover +6.

The spread isn’t surprising given Bill Belichick’s track record of neutralizing rookie quarterbacks in their first start against the Patriots. We know better than to bet against Belichick in this situation. Expect the defense to feast and Mac Jones to have a big day through the air en route to a 27-14 Patriots win.
