Patriots: 3 players entering last-chance season in New England
By Mike Luciano
1. WR N’Keal Harry
The biggest story in Patriots world over the last few weeks has been Harry, who has requested a trade out of New England after recording just 45 catches in two seasons. Harry is destined to end up as yet another wide receiver that was drafted by New England and utterly failed to justify being taken in the first round.
Harry will only be the fifth or sixth option in the passing game. Agholor and Kendrick Bourne are the two new starters, and the additions of Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry prove that New England is going to lean on two tight end sets more frequently.
N’Keal Harry is struggling to stick with the Patriots.
The Patriots need to get rid of Harry as soon as possible. Bringing him to training camp is only going to create more issues, and he isn’t going to play a very important role on the offensive side of the ball unless some major injuries happen.
Harry still has plenty of potential that teams could utilize in order to get him back on the right track, but a fresh start is best for all parties. Barring him suddenly turning into Randy Moss, he isn’t going to stick in New England.
