1. Marvin Hall

Very few players truly made noteworthy improvements under Matt Patricia in Detroit, but Hall emerged as a solid deep threat that the Browns eventually took advantage of when they added him before their playoff push.

Hall only had 24 catches in 20 games with the Lions, but he made the most of those catches, averaging 23 yards per reception. If we know anything about the former Washington star, we know that he can get behind the defense, something Harry has never been able to do during his pro career.

Marvin Hall could contribute to the Patriots.

Hall is a one-trick pony, but he performs that trick so effectively and consistently that New England would be foolish not to feature him in the game plan. Harry is, again, a very different type of player when compared to Hall, but the Patriots shouldn’t be so concerned by that when it comes to filling spots on the roster.

Hall was largely relegated to the No. 4 or No. 5 wide receiver spot during his time in Detroit, but if he ends up really getting into a groove in Josh McDaniels’ system and dominates in his role, he could become the No. 3 target.
