This pick does make one big assumption, namely that this is the offseason where someone in the Los Angeles Chargers organization realizes that the offensive line exists and is, in fact, a necessary part of an elite offense.
Los Angeles finally has their (elite?) future signal caller, someone who can really spin a patented deep ball if given enough time at the line of scrimmage.

Farley is generally mocked higher (specifically to the Broncos and Cowboys, both starved for defense at nine and 10), but thanks to a little bit of slippage, the Vikings end up with a 22-year-old cornerback who’ll hopefully impact the franchise the way Xavier Rhodes did — without the downward trend line, that is.
Another 2020 opt-out, Farley is a 6-2, 207-pound ball-hawking machine, earning All-ACC honors as a redshirt sophomore. From 3-star recruit to the first round. Not bad.
