2021 NFL Draft: Patriots nab star wide receiver in full Round 1 mock
By Adam Weinrib
NFL Draft 2021: Broncos grab a pro-ready CB.
The Denver Broncos can use more talent wherever they can get it, but at this point, the defense could use more stability than the offense. We’re not sold on Drew Lock (is anyone?), but Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton provide more projectability than the remaining bevy of wideouts, and Noah Fant is emerging as a potential stud. Surtain can step right in from Day 1 and start hawking balls out of the thin air, as is his prerogative.
Come on! Can’t you see Jerry Jones splurging for one of those primo pass rushers with an incomplete resume, just because he believes in him, goddammit?
The U pedigree doesn’t hurt, either.
Rousseau is a tremendous risk. His only season at Miami came as a 19-year-old redshirt freshman before he chose not to move the needle on his stock in either direction amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
But if anyone at the top of the first round is going to be tantalized, it’s the man in Dallas who’d prefer just about any distraction to the Dak Prescott contract talks right about now.
