2021 NFL Draft: Titans select a pass rusher…finally.

The Tennessee Titans’ defensive reputation greatly exceeds their actual production. We envision them in the mold of Mike Vrabel, their fearless leader. But in reality, this Tennessee team features insanely skilled offensive playmakers in AJ Brown and Derrick Henry, but doesn’t have a defense that matches up.

The 20-year-old Ojulari, weighing in at 6-3 and 240 pounds, piled up the sacks (8.5) and solo tackles (22) for a pedigree program at UGA in 2020, and would be a boon to any team that needs to put more consistent pressure on the quarterback.

On the right day, the Titans look like a contender. On most days, though, there’s no there there on the defense. Ojulari will help.

Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. OT. Alabama. Alex Leatherwood. 23. player. 30

Most mock draft authors want to give the Jets Travis Etienne here, but every Jets fan wants more protection on the line first.

We foresee them “blindsiding” the Pittsburgh Steelers with their selection here, grabbing the burly Leatherwood out of Bama to help fortify their line and make new QB Zach Wilson’s life easier … well, as easy as it can be while serving as the rookie starting quarterback of the New York Jets.

Leatherwood, weighing in at a monstrous 6-5 and 318 pounds, has the dimensions of the ideal offensive line prospect. He’s still here at 23?! Sorry, Patriots fans, but this is another win for Joe Douglas.
