New England Patriots HC Bill Belichick’s girlfriend Linda Holliday clapped back to a pro-Tom Brady comment on Instagram ahead of the NFC Championship.

Whether Patriots fans are rooting for Tom Brady’s continued surge in the NFC or not, they have to admit there’s clearly still some bad blood in the locker room in Foxborough.

While Brady endured a bit of a roller-coaster ride in Tampa Bay this year, struggling to defeat the Saints…until he emphatically did when it mattered most, Bill Belichick’s ride in New England was much more clearly unpleasant.

A 7-9 record isn’t very Belichickian, and the late-offseason “gift” of Cam Newton under center clearly didn’t turn out to be much of a present at all.

So while Belichick broods and waits for an offseason flush with cash and another pivotal draft, he doesn’t seem to be too keen on watching the rest of the NFL Playoffs — and his longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday opened up a window into what’s going on in that household this week.

Holliday got baited by a pro-Brady, anti-Belichick comment following the 43-year-old QB’s victory over the Saints, and had to speak her mind.

Shots fired at Kathy Pellet!

Bottom line, Brady won yet another important football game with an exemplary defensive performance behind him, something Holliday didn’t seem to mind when it took place in New England in 2019.

And 2004, and 2003, and 2002…but we digress.

That being said, Brady’s success doesn’t have to be some kind of indictment on Belichick, who dragged a roster that had no business competing this year with a quarterback who couldn’t throw downfield right to the edge of the AFC playoff picture.

Both Brady and Belichick are legends, and no outcome of the 2020-21 playoffs will ever change that.

But there is a certain sect of internet troll who wants this debate to rage on, and Holliday would like those folks to know that the Belichick household hears you loud and clear.

And perhaps those pests have stirred up a bit of anti-Brady sentiment, too.
