1. Richard Seymour

We are completely stunned that Richard Seymour has yet to been inducted into New England’s Hall of Fame.

For starters, he was arguably the best player on a Patriots defense during their initial dynastic run in the 2000s. The former No. 6 overall pick won three Super Bowls, made five All-Pro teams, and was named a First-Teamer on the All 2000s squad.

Seymour appeared in 111 of a possible 128 games, during which he logged 359 tackles, 39 sacks, 29 passes defended, 37 quarterback hits and six fumble recoveries.

It’s not at all an exaggeration to say that he was one of the most underrated players of his generation and the Patriots should do right by him in inducting him into their Hall of Fame. His resume is more than deserving of the nod.
