New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick loves to lay low. You’ll never see him doing anything extravagant or headline-grabbing in the offseason, but this time around it seems as if quarantine has driven him to break that rule.

The legendary head coach was seen filming a commercial for Subway in Connecticut. Really, Bill? Subway? The most decorated coach in the history of the NFL is using his face to promote the sandwich chain?

We didn’t believe it either until we saw proof.

Looks like coach will be eating fresh for the foreseeable future. He took a fat bite of that sammy on camera and seems to be enjoying himself on set.

Most importantly, he’s got his mask with him. Pats fans can only hope he’s keeping his distance with the camera crew. Does anyone even need to be near him? Does he even need any lines? We think Bill Belichick eating a Subway sandwich on camera sends enough of a message. The GOAT likes it, and you should too.

Ohhh man we just can’t wait for a reporter to ask him a question about this. “Next please.” “Let’s focus on the Dolphins, please.” “I can’t divulge what kind of sandwich it was at this time.”

Nonetheless, it’s good we’re seeing Belichick staying occupied in some capacity this offseason, especially with the whirlwind surrounding the team after signing Cam Newton (and his latest comments that may cause more of a discussion).

The Patriots have the hardest schedule in the NFL for the upcoming 2020 season, so it’s important Coach takes a load off before diving into football and focusing on taking down the Chiefs. It can’t hurt to make an extra buck during these tough times either, right?
