2nd Down: Fortify the offensive line

The New England Patriots offensive line played inconsistent last year as they shuffled players in and out of the starting lineup. Isaiah Wynn and Joe Thuney helped stabilize the offensive line as best as they could, but Shaq Mason and Marcus Cannon struggled at times during the season. The Patriots needed to add depth to the line, and they used the draft to beef up the weak position.

They selected Michael Onwenu out of Michigan, Justin Herron out of Wake Forest, and Dustin Woodard out of Memphis. The offensive line also got better when David Andrews announced he was healthy enough tor return to football after missing all of last season with blood clots in his lungs.

The offensive line should be better and can help Stidham in his first season as the starting quarterback.
