The 2020 NFL season is fast approaching, and barring any issues with the coronavirus outbreak sweeping the world, the season should start on time.
The New England Patriots had a long offseason due to their early playoff exit, and they had a long list of holes in their roster to fill as well. I wrote an article early in the offseason detailing the four needs they had to fill via the draft and free agency.
They began the offseason rather slow but used the draft to help bolster their roster for 2020. The team made a few free agent signings that helped fill some of the players they lost via free agency and trades once the offseason started. They used the draft this year to continue to fill many needs on their roster but have since been very quiet as training camp approaches.
Here is how they have done so far to address their four needs this offseason.
