No. 4 – Cardinals (Week 12)

The Arizona Cardinals will be an intriguing matchup for the New England Patriots.

The last time these two teams played each other was in 2016, when the Patriots went on to win 23-21 to start off their season victorious during the beginning of Tom Brady’s four-game suspension pertaining to Deflategate.

Quarterbacking the Cardinals is the 2019 Offensive Rookie of the Year, Kyler Murray. Murray has the speed and agility to take it himself, as well as the pocket presence and arm strength to maneuver the ball around the field.

To complement the legendary wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, the Cardinals traded with the Texans for a great wide receiver in DeAndre Hopkins. Despite the aging Fitzgerald, it’s fair to say that this is going to be a productive wide receiver duo.

Not to mention versatile wideout Christian Kirk and a huge tight end in Maxx Williams to complement the skills of Murray.

Now to the defense…

The Cardinals defense has all of the talent necessary to be one of the best in the league — however, it’s been that way for a while now.

To accompany the former New England Patriot — and someone who is always in the conversation for having the most sacks in the NFL — Chandler Jones, the Cardinals drafted versatile hybrid linebacker Isaiah Simmons eighth overall out of Clemson.

By the time Week 12 comes around, it’ll be great to see what the young offensive talent of the Patriots can produce against the Cardinals.

Similar to the Raiders, the unfamiliarity of the Cardinals is another reason to be excited for this game.
