1) Week 16- Monday Night Football vs Buffalo Bills

You would only have to go back two years for you to call me crazy for putting this as the Patriots’ best prime-time game.

If New England is competitive in 2020 and “in the hunt” still in Week 16, there would be massive implications for this game.

Last year, in this same week and in this same venue, New England played a de facto prime-time game against Buffalo that some would say was “for the division,” because if Buffalo had beaten New England and then won in Week 17 (and New England had lost both weeks), Buffalo would’ve been the division winner.

It was probably the best game Tom Brady had played since Week 2 of last season — and if TB12 wasn’t on point, and maybe if Edelman hadn’t returned from the locker room with a head injury, New England would’ve lost.

Buffalo is a really good football team with a phenomenal defense and a young quarterback surrounded by playmakers. This will be the best game of the year for New England if they are still hanging around by Week 16.

Sure, Buffalo is 0-6 in the Sean McDermott era against the Patriots, but this is a new-look Patriots team and a new-look Bills team.
