Brady and Gronk’s game-winning drive against K.C., Week 6 of 2018

The narrative was that Brady was too old, Gronkowski was broken down, and it was time to hand the reins of the AFC to the young phenom, Patrick Mahomes.

Brady and Gronk thought otherwise.

Brady would hit Gronk for a 40 yard gain, beating Josh Shaw in coverage. The two had a huge connection to set up Stephen Gostkowski for a game-winning field goal to fend off the Chiefs … and to prove to everyone that they weren’t done just yet.

The pair later connected once again in crunch time against this same Chiefs team on the road in Arrowhead during the AFC Championship Game that season en route to the franchise’s sixth Super Bowl title.
