With the goal of retooling the dynasty, here are 12 potential picks that could help the New England Patriots achieve that goal.

The 2020 NFL Draft is officially set to go ahead virtually from April 23-25.

This marks an important date for the New England Patriots, who have multiple glaring holes in their roster that need to be patched up.

I did a full 7-round mock draft for the entire NFL, so these picks are based on who I still had on the board at each position.

If you feel I reached for a player, or someone shouldn’t be on the board, go ahead and tell me in the comments. Conversation is appreciated.

With that said, let’s begin the 2020 New England Patriots Mock Draft.

. Linebacker. Badgers . Zack Baun. 23. player. 809

OK, surely this won’t be controversial. Baun is the third-ranked linebacker on most draft boards, but don’t be surprised if New England shakes up the draft a little and takes the Wisconsin product over his Big Ten rival pass rushers, A.J. Epenesa and Yetur Gross-Matos.

Baun plays exactly like Kyle Van Noy. Seriously, go watch some of his highlights — it’s terrifying how much he looks like Van Noy out there. It makes sense that with losing Van Noy to the Dolphins in free agency, the Patriots would try to target his younger clone in the draft.

He’s a versatile player as well. His athleticism makes him a major threat rushing the QB, but Baun can also easily hold his own dropping back into coverage. He could easily slot into an outside linebacker role if need be. He played both linebacker and defensive end last season.

The one major question with Baun is his strength, as he’s certainly not the strongest guy in the world. That could impact his tackling at the NFL level, but if it becomes a problem, strength is one of those attributes you can realistically work on.
