#4) New England vs. Kansas City (AFC Championship Game, 2018 season)

Tom Brady versus Patrick Mahomes, Round Two.

In the regular season, New England beat the Chiefs 43-40. The Patriots had a halftime lead of 24-9 in the regular season matchup before it became a shootout in the second half.

That narrative continued in the postseason match up. Many thought this could’ve been the passing of the torch from Brady to Mahomes for who would take over the AFC, but Brady had other ideas.

Brady and the Patriots got up 14-0 at halftime, and once again, the Chiefs came roaring back. How would the Patriots’ doubted offense keep up with the high-flying Chiefs?

Tom Brady, thats how.

He executed drive after drive for New England to keep up with Kansas City. In overtime, Brady completed three straight 3rd-and-longs, twice to Julian Edelman and once to Rob Gronkowski. Rex Burkhead eventually got the game-winning touch.

Brady proved that his run wasn’t over yet, and that Mahomes would have to wait.
