New England Patriots: All-Decade Team of the 2010s
Defensive End – Trey Flowers
Trey Flowers was drafted by the Patriots in the fourth round in 2015 and quickly worked his way into a starting role. Flowers logged in 37 starts in 46 games on a defensive front that dealt with a lot of moving pieces. He would rack up 164 tackles (25 for a loss) and 21 sacks during his time with the Pats.
Flowers became one of the most dependable players on the defense during his time in New England and was able to set the edge and do his job well. Flowers is a two-time Super Bowl champion and PFF named him a second-team All-Pro in 2018.
Flowers would sign a contract with the Detroit Lions in 2019 to play for his former coordinator Matt Patricia.
