4th Down: Same game plan for the offense as last week

Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels drew up a similar game plan from last week for Sunday’s matchup versus the Dolphins, which was primarily run-heavy with Sony Michel and Rex Burkhead leading the way. He also mixed in some passes, which didn’t have the same success as the running game… and credit goes to the Miami secondary.

The Patriots offense was also able to put 24 points up on the board, which is usually enough to win – but not on Sunday. It was disappointing to say the least, because there is still some doubt that this offense can win four more games and bring a seventh title to Foxboro.
