4th Down: Who’s healthy enough to play?

As the New England Patriots boarded the plane to travel down to Houston, they did so with 18 players listed on the injury report. Three have been ruled out as of this writing, including cornerback Jason McCourty, who is missing his second game in a row.

10 different players have been battling an illness, including Stephon Gilmore, Dont’a Hightower, Isaiah Wynn, Jamie Collins, and Marcus Cannon. There is no word on which players are healthy enough to play, although at least two key players are expected to suit up for the Patriots from the injury report, and they are both on the offensive side of the football. Mohammed Sanu and Phillip Dorsett are expected to return to the lineup and help Tom Brady out in the passing game.

Hopefully these important players are healthy enough to take the field, as the New England Patriots need each and every player available to them to pull out a victory on the road against a team they could meet in the playoffs come January.
