4th Down: Which offense will show up Sunday night?

As long as Tom Brady is the quarterback and Josh McDaniels is the offensive coordinator, then the New England Patriots offense will always be prolific. However, they have been having an inconsistent 2019 season. They have been dominant at times, but as of late they have been anything but.

McDaniels has been trying to get Sony Michel going as well as the overall running game, but it has yet to be a consistent force like it was a year ago. A beat-up offensive line is a main reason for that, but that has not stopped the offensive coordinator from drawing running plays for the running backs.

Receivers have been in and out of the lineup for New England as well, so the chemistry isn’t there for this passing attack to gain any momentum week to week. As seen at multiple times during this season, when they click and are firing on all cylinders, this offense is as dangerous as their defense. The thing is, we don’t know which offense will be showing up in Baltimore.

We should find out soon enough…
