3rd Down: Quiet the crowd early

Baltimore has always been a tough place to play… not just for the New England Patriots, but for the other 30 teams in the NFL. Ravens fans are passionate and they are loud, which makes it difficult for any team to leave with a win.

Besides limiting Jackson to minimal damage on the defense, the crowd must be taken out of the game early… whether that is forcing a turnover for the Boogeymen or a touchdown for Tom Brady and the offense. If the crowd is kept out of the game, then Brady and the offense will have an easy time yelling out signals, route changes, and the young players won’t have as much pressure to deliver in a big spot.

The volume of the crowd can disrupt any offense, so if they can put points on the board early, the crown will be very silent. As for the defense, if they can control the line of scrimmage and dominate early, they can force the Ravens to make mistakes and they can lose that advantage of the crowd.
