The Patriots are entering the gauntlet of their schedule — or are they?

Dallas Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys went from elite to mediocre in the blink of an eye this season.

They won their first three games convincingly, but then lost their next three – punctuated by a humiliating loss to a New York Jets team that promptly turned around and got humiliated themselves by the Patriots at home on primetime television. Even though the Cowboys pulled out a win last week against the Eagles, they still have a lot of issues to deal with, starting with an effete defense.

Ezekiel Elliott isn’t having an amazing year either, being held to under 75 rushing yards three times. This may be a symptom of a surprisingly poor offensive line, which has affected quarterback Dak Prescott’s play as well.

With the weapons they do have, including standout wide receiver Amari Cooper, a Dallas victory isn’t impossible in Week 12… but Prescott will have to have to find some way to outplay defensive backs Stephon Gilmore and the McCourty twins.
