The New England Patriots defeated the New York Giants Thursday night by a score of 35-14. It’s time to review the 4 Downs Preview of this game.

New England improved their 2019 NFL record to 6-0 after a strong fourth quarter helped propel them to a 35-14 victory over the New York Giants Thursday night at Gillette Stadium. The Giants held their own against the juggernaut Patriots on the road, but New England was able to pull away late in the game and remains undefeated.

For the third straight week, the defense and special teams picked up a sluggish offense. Ultimately, it was those two phases of the game for the Pats that spelled the end for the Giants’ chances to move up the in the NFC East standings.

With this three touchdown victory, the New England Patriots sit comfortably atop both the AFC and the AFC East. The Patriots’ biggest challenger this season, the Kansas City Chiefs, fell at home to Indianapolis on Sunday Night Football, which puts New England in the early driver’s seat for home-field advantage come the playoffs.
