Quarterback Tom Brady beat center David Andrews in a beer-chugging contest at the Patriots’ Super Bowl ring presentation ceremony Thursday night.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is absurdly good at quite a few things.

Obviously first and foremost is football. He’s also quite the health and fitness guru, he’s a published author, and he’s a standup husband and father. Some would say he’s a pretty decent model as well with his GQ-worthy good looks.

One other thing he’s surprisingly good at? Chugging beer apparently.

Just three months after obliterating late night TV talk show host Stephen Colbert in a beer-chugging contest, Brady again showcased his impressive ability to guzzle down the hops in record time at the Patriots’ Super Bowl ring presentation ceremony on Thursday night.

Whether Brady challenged his center David Andrews, Andrews challenged Brady, or the challenge came from someone else entirely, no one knows just yet. All that is known at this time is Brady’s performance against Colbert was no fluke, as he once again emerged victorious against a competitor in a high-profile match.

Of course, this video is just the latest in a string of athletes-chugging-beer viral videos that have dominated the NFL offseason this year. Julian Edelman chugged a beer at a Boston Bruins’ playoff game at the end of April to fire up the home crowd; Andrews himself followed suit at a different Bruins’ playoff game just a week or so later.

Somewhat infamously, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers failed to down his beer while attempting to chug at a Milwaukee Bucks playoff game… even as his offensive tackle David Bakhtiari chugged a couple. Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford posted a video of himself quickly chugging a beer not long after, presumably to troll his division rival.

It appears that Brady is still No. 1 though – both when it comes to winning football championships, and when it comes to winning beer-chugging contests.
