Ulrick John

Position: Offensive Line

Overview: Who? John spent all of 2018 on injured reserve after a preseason injury sidelined him, so it’s understandable if fans are a little unfamiliar with his name. They shouldn’t be though – John seemingly earned himself a swing tackle role with a strong training camp and performance in the preseason games before the injury cut his opportunities short.

John is valuable and inexpensive depth on a roster that just lost its starting left tackle (Trent Brown) and could still lose its top back-up tackle (LaAdrian Waddle) as well. He is cheap and unlikely to have a lot of competition for his services, which might make a return to New England all but guaranteed.

Expected Cost: One year at Veteran’s minimum of around $700,000 to $800,000.
