Jeremy Hill
Position: Running Back
Overview: Hill looked like he could be a real part of the New England backfield in training camp after a strong showing. Unfortunately, a torn ACL in Week One ended his season prematurely; whether he comes back at full strength is now a legitimate question mark as he enters free agency.
Hill may see himself as having unfinished business in New England and come back on a one year ”prove-it” deal. He looked like a good fit in a small sample size, and should be back to fight for a role in a crowded backfield when considering his ample experience and hard-nosed running style.
Expected Cost: One year at Veteran’s minimum of around $700,000 to $800,000.
