New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft will allegedly face charges of soliciting prostitution at an illicit massage parlor in Palm Beach County, Florida.

News broke early Friday morning that Patriots owner Robert Kraft has allegedly been linked to an undercover sting operation in Palm Beach County, Florida. According to the Associated Press report via ESPN, Kraft “was twice videotaped paying for and receiving sex at an illicit massage parlor.”

Local authorities had been orchestrating the sting operation for quite some time supposedly, identifying massage parlors they deemed to be potential targets for illegal prostitution, bugging those businesses with hidden cameras, and filming the transactions occurring there between the parlors’ employees and its customers.

According to police, they have enough footage of Kraft soliciting services at one particular parlor that they believe an arrest warrant for him will soon be issued.

The expectation is that Kraft will be charged with misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution. The Associated Press report claims that “about 200 arrest warrants have been issued in recent days and more are expected.”

Kraft has already released a statement through a spokesman vehemently denying any wrongdoing on his part. “We categorically deny that Mr. Kraft engaged in any illegal activity. Because it is a judicial matter, we will not be commenting further,” the statement proclaimed.

For 48 years, Kraft was married to Myra Nathalie Kraft (surname Hiatt), until the latter died of ovarian cancer in the summer of 2011. The 2011-2012 season was dedicated to Myra Kraft’s memory, with all Patriots players wearing her initials in an “MHK” patch on their uniforms that year. The couple had four children together, all sons.

Since 2011, Kraft has chosen not to remarry.
