Which players on the New England Patriots roster stand the best chance of earning Super Bowl MVP honors should the team win it all?

The New England Patriots and the Los Angeles Rams will take the field at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, on Sunday February 3 around 6:30 pm EST for the 53rd edition of the Super Bowl. Currently the Patriots are a -2 point favorite, though that line could change depending on betting action between now and kickoff.

One of the most popular prop bets this time of year is always who will win Super Bowl MVP. Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is the odds-on favorite (+100) to capture his record-extending fifth MVP award, with Rams quarterback Jared Goff sitting pretty with the second-best odds right behind him (+205).

Of the 53 players on New England’s active roster, who else is most likely to put forth the kind of exceptional effort in Atlanta that would result in MVP honors?

After all, it’s not just about odds and probabilities – it’s actually a much more subjective science than one might initially expect. Even in the Patriots’ last two Super Bowl wins, many viewers and analysts thought that Malcolm Butler and James White might have been more deserving of the recognition than Brady, who ultimately took home the hardware both times.
